MAJOR PROJECTS
Promoted Ads: I headed the creation and release of our like/follow ads. I created over 50 ads to be used throughout the year on Facebook and Twitter with the goal of increasing the amount of likes and follows. In doing so, I was the main contact with the ad agency who released our ads and participated in a weekly conference call to analyze ad metrics and discuss opportunities to improve performance. Each week I release a new ad that is promoted with a budget. (Published promoted ads shown below)
Social Media Posts: I wrote posts weekly for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn to cover ComEd events and our involvement in the community. (Sample of posts shown below)
Mobile App Promotion: I wrote 10 posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn to promote our mobile app campaign, "1 Million Reasons to Go Mobile," with the goal of reaching 1,000,000 app downloads. (First post show in social media posts)
Storm Graphics & Metrics: I was responsible for writing over 50 social media posts for storm graphics that I then uploaded to our content library for convenient use during storms. I also created PowerPoints after each major storm detailing the metrics of our promoted and organic storm posts.
Energy-Efficient Businesses: I created a 20 post content series to be used on LinkedIn that highlights our business-focused programs and offerings for energy-efficiency. (First post show in social media posts)
Community of the Future: I wrote social media content to gain awareness for our new project to build the community of the future in Bronzeville through addressing transportation gaps in the community.
Icebox Derby: I supported the Icebox Derby by posting content to our social channels, as well as attending events to provide support on social media.
Intern Presentation: I created a tri-fold poster board and PowerPoint presentation to showcase to employees of ComEd an overview of what I completed in my internship this summer. (Poster shown below)
